Facilities and parking
South Lanarkshire Crematorium sits in landscaped gardens overlooking the Clyde Valley. There’s parking for 140 cars, including disabled bays, and a defibrillator on site. The main hall seats 160, with extra space in the lobby and waiting area.

Accessibility
Disabled parking, ramps, level access, handrails, a hearing loop, and accessible toilets are all available, along with a step-free reception. Braille service books, a wheelchair, and staff assistance can be arranged on request. Staff can also help arrange memorials, and an organist can be provided for services.

Live streaming
Funerals can be live streamed to up to 150 viewers on phone, tablet or computer, arranged through your funeral director. The camera is fixed at the back of the Service Room, giving a clear view of the catafalque and any photo tribute or slideshow. Every service is also recorded as a backup – if a viewer misses the live stream, an on-demand recording can be requested afterwards and stays available to watch for 28 days, with a downloadable version also available. The combined live and on-demand streaming service costs £61.36.

Opening hours and visiting
The landscaped gardens are open to visitors throughout the day, every day of the week. The Book of Remembrance room is accessible daily from 8am to 8pm; outside the hours when staff are present to turn the pages of the traditional book, a digital kiosk keeps the online Book of Remembrance available.
The bereavement office is open Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 4.45pm, and Friday, 8.45am to 4.15pm. The office is closed on all public holidays.
