Dignity’s price list is tiered by day of week: the standard attended service costs £100 more on Thursdays and Fridays than on Monday-Wednesday or Saturday. The £700 figure is a separate “attended direct cremation” product, not an off-peak time slot.

The chapel
Holytown’s chapel has a spiral staircase leading up to a balcony area, and seats up to 168 people. For larger services, the doors to the adjacent waiting room can be opened to extend the chapel area, with a clear view of the service from there. Two screens display visual tributes, and there’s a music system. The standard service time is 45 minutes – longer than many other crematoria – which Dignity says helps families arrange services around cultural and religious needs.

Accessibility and parking
The crematorium has access for less-abled visitors, accessible toilets, and a hearing loop system. There are 77 parking spaces, including 5 less-abled spaces, available during opening hours.

Opening hours
The office and memorial office are both open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Collection of cremated remains and memorial consultations can be arranged by appointment outside these hours. The Book of Remembrance room is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm – call ahead to arrange a viewing at other times. The grounds themselves stay open to the public all year round.
After a service, staff lay flowers in the flower courtyard, where you can view them or take them away – Dignity keeps them there for up to 7 days if you’d rather collect them later. The crematorium sits in ten acres of landscaped gardens, with private, rose and ribbon gardens, a rockery area, and granite or wooden bench gardens for memorials.
