Chapel and facilities
Test Valley Crematorium sits in Hampshire countryside, designed to blend into the local rural character. The chapel is built in traditional local red brick, furnished in oak, with picture windows along one side framing the grounds. It comfortably seats up to 98 mourners, with an additional 30 standing spaces, and speakers in the lobby and outside the chapel for larger gatherings. Source: Test Valley Crematorium – Facilities.
The chapel has a media centre providing photo tributes, DVD recordings, live streaming for those unable to attend in person, and a large music library, alongside a Viscount pipe organ for live music. There are 90 allocated parking spaces plus 4 accessible spaces close to the chapel, and both standard and accessible toilets on site.
Opening hours
The office is open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with Saturday appointments available by arrangement. The grounds are open 9am-6pm (April-September) and 9am-5pm (October-March) on weekdays, and 10am-4.30pm on weekends and public holidays. Source: Test Valley Crematorium – homepage.
