The chapel
The chapel seats 100 mourners, with standing room for more. The roofline is designed to represent the upturned hull of a ship, reflecting King’s Lynn’s maritime heritage. Mintlyn is one of a small number of UK crematoria offering a catafalque that can be lowered, positioned at the front of the chapel next to the lectern. Service times and opening hours
The administration office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, closed on all bank holidays. The gardens of remembrance and Book of Remembrance are open for visitors October to March on weekdays 8:30am-5pm and weekends/bank holidays 9am-5pm (10am-4.30pm over the Christmas period), and April to September on weekdays 8:30am-6pm and weekends/bank holidays 9am-5pm.
