Gloucester Crematorium is operated by Gloucester City Council. It opened in 1953.

Funeral directors in Gloucester

The £1,156 standard cremation fee goes to the council. The funeral director’s charges are separate and paid on top, which is why two families using the same crematorium can pay very different totals. Our directory of funeral directors in Gloucester lists every firm with premises in the city alongside the prices each one publishes.

If you’re arranging a burial rather than a cremation, see Gloucester City Council cemetery fees – the council operates Coney Hill Cemetery on the same site as this crematorium, plus Gloucester Old Cemetery on Tredworth Road.
