Coney Hill Cemetery fees, Gloucester
Current burial fees for Coney Hill Cemetery, part of Coney Hill Cemetery and Crematorium on Coney Hill Road, Gloucester – the city’s main active burial site. Effective 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Gloucester City Council also manages Gloucester Old Cemetery (Tredworth Road), which has limited capacity for new burials. The ERB purchase price doubles for non-residents; interment fees are the same regardless of residency.
Children’s interment costs are not payable by next of kin – the council claims these directly from the Child Funeral Fund.

Non-resident rates apply to the ERB purchase price only – the fee is double in every ERB category. Interment fees are the same for residents and non-residents. Non-residency is based on the home address of the deceased at the time of death.

Gloucester City Council operates two burial sites serving the city:
Coney Hill Cemetery and Crematorium on Coney Hill Road is the main active cemetery. It includes lawn sections, a chapel, and a woodland burial area. The crematorium operates on the same site, with its own separate fee schedule.
Gloucester Old Cemetery on Tredworth Road is an older historic burial ground. Capacity for new burials is limited. Families should confirm availability with the council before making arrangements.
