About this crematorium
Flintshire Memorial Park and Crematorium is operated by Memoria. It opened in 2018 and sits on grounds accessed from the B5126 Mold Road near Northop Hall, close to junction 33B of the A55 expressway.
The chapel
The chapel seats 95, with room for up to 200 if the adjoining foyer space is used, and can host services of more than 400 people via outdoor amplification under the porte-cochere for very large funerals. It has a hearing loop for accessibility, the Obitus media system for internet-sourced music, an organ for hymns, a public address system, and two plasma screens for eulogies and photo tributes. A single projected image and committal lighting are provided free of charge. Services run at hourly intervals, with a 40-minute service window followed by time for mourners to thank attendees and for the chapel to be cleared before the next booking; longer services can be arranged on request.
Streaming
The crematorium offers webcam live streaming for family and friends who cannot attend in person, and can provide a webcast of the service so that those kept away by distance or illness can view it online.
Parking
There are 38 parking spaces immediately in front of the chapel, with a further 60 overflow spaces available for larger services.
Visiting
The memorial park is open Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, and 10am–4pm at weekends and bank holidays. The crematorium office keeps the same weekday hours.
