Rugby Borough Council cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for Rugby Borough Council, effective 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. The council manages Rainsbrook Cemetery and Crematorium on Ashlawn Road – the borough’s main combined site – alongside four further cemeteries: Croop Hill Cemetery, Whinfield Cemetery, Watts Lane Cemetery, and Clifton Road Cemetery.
Non-residents of Rugby pay three times (3x) the published resident rate for all exclusive right of burial and interment fees.

Children’s burial fees from 24 weeks gestation to 17 years are paid by the Children’s Funeral Fund for England – families do not pay these charges.

Headstones in the Cloverleaf Memorial Garden require an application but carry no permit charge. Memorial height in the Cloverleaf Memorial Garden is limited to 2’6”.

Rainsbrook Cemetery and Crematorium on Ashlawn Road is Rugby Borough Council’s main combined site, with burials and cremations both taking place there. The council also manages Croop Hill Cemetery, Whinfield Cemetery, Watts Lane Cemetery, and Clifton Road Cemetery. The burial fees above apply across all five sites, with a small number of site-specific exceptions noted in the tables (for example, the 4-casket cremated remains plot available only at Croop Hill).
