Current burial and cemetery fees for North Hertfordshire Council cemeteries, effective 1 April 2026. North Hertfordshire Council acts as the burial authority for the district.

Non-residents pay four times the resident rate across plot purchases and interment fees – one of the highest multipliers in the East of England. Children under 18 are buried free if at least one parent is a North Herts resident; otherwise double fees apply.
