Sandwell Valley Crematorium, in West Bromwich, is run by Sandwell Council’s Bereavement Services team. It’s also known as Newton Road Crematorium or West Bromwich Crematorium – all three names refer to the same site on Newton Road, B71 3SX. Fees below are verified against the council’s own price list.

Facilities and booking
A standard attended service allows 30 minutes in the chapel; families who need longer can book an extended, “double time” slot with 60 minutes in the chapel instead. Both include use of the Obitus music system. Source: Sandwell Council – crematorium price information.
Sandwell Valley Crematorium has a purpose-built, licensed wake facility on site – a peaceful, air-conditioned reception suite that can be booked for two hours after a service, catering for up to 80 guests with freshly prepared food and a licensed bar.
