Chapel and facilities
The chapel holds up to 100 mourners, with a hearing loop for those with hearing difficulties and outside speakers so mourners who cannot fit inside a full chapel can still follow the service. Live webcasting and recording of ceremonies can be arranged on request for an additional fee, letting family and friends who cannot attend in person watch remotely or view a recording afterwards. Public toilets outside the crematorium operate Monday to Friday, and water taps are provided around the grounds for visitors. A Book of Remembrance can be viewed in person or online.
The main gates are open 8am to 8pm between April and September, and 8am to 6pm between October and March, including bank holidays.

Peel Green Crematorium is operated by Salford City Council. The chapel was originally a Non-Conformist burial chapel before being converted for cremations in May 1955, and has since carried out more than 59,500 cremations.
