Moray Crematorium, near Buckie, is operated by Dignity. Chapel and facilities

The chapel seats 170, and can hold up to 230 with speakers providing an overflow in the foyer and under the porte-cochère entrance. It’s wheelchair accessible and fitted with a hearing loop. There’s a separate family room and accessible toilets. The crematorium is set in around six acres of grounds, with a Garden of Remembrance, a pond, and a water fountain area reached over a bridge.

History

The site has housed a church for more than 200 years. The current building was rebuilt in Gothic style in 1886 as Enzie South Parish Church and is a listed building. When it became Moray Crematorium in June 1999, many of the original features were retained, including the Wadsworth pipe organ and the original church bell.
