Ceremony Hall and booking

Kirkleatham has a single Ceremony Hall, so every service has the space to itself – there’s no crossover with another family’s funeral. It seats 94, with sofas in the front rows for those who want to sit close, and a full hour is allocated for each service to allow time to arrive, hold the ceremony, and leave without being rushed. The chapel runs on an Obitus system supporting visual tributes, livestreaming and video recording, alongside its own pipe organ for live music. A webcast can be arranged through your funeral director, filmed by a fixed camera at the back of the chapel – it can be watched live or afterwards as a recording, either online or on a USB drive. The grounds sit between the coast and the Cleveland Hills, with open hedgerows and quiet paths. A natural burial area is sown with wildflowers rather than marked with headstones. Ashes can be scattered in the gardens at no extra cost, and memorial options include garden plaques, avenue trees, rose bushes, memorial bird baths and keepsake items.
