About this crematorium

Heart of England Crematorium is operated by Dignity (Crematoria and Memorial Group). It opened in 1995, dedicated by the then Lord Bishop of Coventry, and sits within 13 acres of open Warwickshire countryside near Nuneaton.

The chapel

The chapel seats 105, with a further 10-15 people accommodated in the adjoining waiting room, which has its own speaker and screen. A large feature window looks out over the surrounding countryside. The chapel has a hearing loop, a music system with access to thousands of classical and modern pieces, visual tribute and photo-slideshow display, and a vestry for visiting clergy. Audio recordings of services can be arranged on request. The grounds are open 365 days a year.

Service scheduling

The crematorium offers direct cremation appointments from 9am, alongside standard weekday services and weekend bookings by arrangement. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Streaming

Heart of England Crematorium offers a live webcast of services for £75, viewable for up to 28 days after the service.

Parking and accessibility

There are 74 parking spaces, including accessible bays, and the site has step-free access and accessible toilet facilities for less-abled visitors.

Memorial gardens

The memorial gardens include a river and a small brook, rose beds, private memorial gardens and an armed forces memorial, giving families a range of settings in which to remember loved ones.
