About this crematorium
Glynn Valley Crematorium is operated by Dignity (Crematoria and Memorial Group). It opened in February 1989 and sits within 10 acres of landscaped gardens of remembrance near Bodmin, Cornwall.
The chapel
The chapel, St Petroc’s, seats 60 and has a large picture window overlooking the valley. It caters for multi-faith and non-religious services alike, and is equipped with a music system, hearing loop and a waiting room with its own screen so those arriving can follow the service before it begins.
Service scheduling
Direct cremation appointments are offered from 9am, with standard weekday services and weekend bookings available by arrangement. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
Streaming
Glynn Valley Crematorium offers a live webcast of services for £75, viewable for up to 28 days after the service.
Parking and accessibility
The main car park holds around 200 vehicles, with an overflow area for larger services. The site has full accessible access, including accessible parking and toilet facilities.
Memorial gardens
The 10-acre gardens include a lake with pathways added in 2010, rose beds, private memorial gardens and a dedicated garden for bereaved parents. Cremation certificates and an ash container are included in the base cremation fee.
