Wyre Borough Council cemetery fees
Wyre Borough Council manages four cemeteries across the borough – at Fleetwood, Poulton New, Moorland Road, and Preesall. The council publishes a fee schedule covering the 2025/26 period (1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026).
Burial fees

| Adult burial interment (over 3 years, weekday) | £867 |
| Adult burial interment (Saturday) | £1,867 |
A Saturday burial costs £1,000 more than a weekday one – more than double the weekday interment fee. If the funeral date is flexible, choosing a weekday keeps the cost down significantly.
Non-resident fees are not published on the council website. Contact the cemeteries team directly for non-resident rates.
Cremated remains fees
Cremated remains charges vary by cemetery. Where a new section grave is purchased, the purchase and interment fee is combined:
