Worcester City Council cemetery fees

Current burial and cemetery fees for Worcester City Council’s Astwood Cemetery and St John’s Cemetery, effective 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. Worcester City Council operates two cemeteries managed through Worcester Cemeteries. The cemetery office can be reached on 01905 22633.

Children and young people under 18 who are Worcester residents are buried at no charge. Non-resident families pay £280 for children aged one month to 18 years, and £80 for stillborn children or those not exceeding one month of age.

Grave space purchase (exclusive right of burial)

Worcester offers two ERB term options: 30 years or 99 years. Most families choose the 30-year grant, which is renewable.
