Wandsworth cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for the London Borough of Wandsworth, valid from 1 January 2026. Bereavement services are managed by Enable Leisure and Culture on behalf of Wandsworth Borough Council. The two main active sites are Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium and Wandsworth Cemetery; Battersea New Cemetery (Morden), Putney Lower Common Cemetery, and St. Mary’s Cemetery also serve the borough.
The Exclusive Right of Burial (EROB) is granted for 40 years across all sites.

Community mausoleum
Putney Vale Cemetery offers above-ground mausoleum chambers on a 99-year lease. Ground-level chambers: £11,995 (resident) / £14,995 (non-resident). Upper-level chambers: £14,995 (resident) / £17,995 (non-resident).
About Wandsworth cemeteries
Enable Leisure and Culture manages burial and cremation services for Wandsworth Borough Council. Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium (Stag Lane, SW15) is the principal burial site, offering traditional pathway graves and the Lawn+ section. Wandsworth Cemetery (Magdalen Road, SW18) provides traditional, casket, and reclaimed heritage grave options.
Resident rate applies to those resident within the London Borough of Wandsworth at the time of death. Non-resident fees are approximately 50% above the resident rate for interment, and 56% above for standard ERB grave purchase.
Children under 12 years: interment fees are significantly reduced; contact the bereavement team for details.
