Torfaen County Borough Council cemetery fees
Torfaen County Borough Council operates cemeteries in Cwmbran, Panteg, and Llwyncelyn, serving communities across the Torfaen valley between Newport and Abergavenny. The 2026/27 fee schedule applies from 10 June 2026 to 31 March 2027. Non-residents of the county borough pay double the standard fee.

Saturday surcharge

Non-resident fees
Fees for burials of those who were not inhabitants of Torfaen during the 12 months before death are doubled, unless:
- The deceased had previously purchased grave rights whilst resident in the county borough
- The deceased was a Torfaen resident immediately before moving out for care or support reasons (evidence required)
- The burial is for a member of the Armed Forces (or their surviving spouse or civil partner) with prior Torfaen residency
Children and young people
There are no fees for burials of children up to the 18th birthday, including NVF and stillborn babies.
