Brimscombe Cemetery fees (Stroud District Council)
Current burial fees for Brimscombe Cemetery, managed by Stroud District Council, effective 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. An adult burial costs £1,013 for a Stroud District resident – non-residents pay double, £2,026, for the same plot. About Brimscombe Cemetery
Brimscombe Cemetery is a council-operated cemetery in the village of Brimscombe, east of Stroud in the Frome Valley. It is managed directly by Stroud District Council’s bereavement services team.
The cemetery is notable for its meadow burial section, where burials take place in a natural setting without traditional headstones. Green meadow burials are now available; green woodland burial plots are no longer available as these are full.
A separate cemetery for Stroud town itself is operated by Stroud Town Council on Horns Road (New Cemetery). Stroud Town Council’s cemetery has its own fees, different from those at Brimscombe.
