St Albans City and District Council cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for St Albans City and District Council, covering Hatfield Road Cemetery and London Road Cemetery (St Albans) and Westfield Road Cemetery (Harpenden), effective 1 April 2025. Non-residents pay three times the resident rate for all services. Residents are defined as those who paid council tax to St Albans City and District Council immediately prior to death, or who lived in the area for over ten years and moved into a nursing home less than 48 months prior to death.
Cancellation fees are charged at 70% of cost. Out-of-hours burials are subject to staff availability.
