Southend-on-Sea cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for Southend-on-Sea City Council at Sutton Road Cemetery, based on the published 2024/25 schedule. Interment fees (digging) are the same for residents and non-residents; however, the grave purchase price (Exclusive Right of Burial) varies significantly by residency.
Children under 18, stillbirths, and babies of 24 or more weeks’ gestation are charged via the Children’s Funeral Fund.
