Rutland County Council cemetery fees

Current burial and cemetery fees for Rutland County Council at Oakham Cemetery, effective through the 2026 to 2027 financial year. Rutland is England’s smallest county and operates one principal council-managed cemetery at Oakham. Resident rates apply to anyone permanently resident within Rutland at the time of death. Non-residents pay double all basic fees.

The council’s fee schedule does not publish a separate double-grave rate for monuments, additional inscriptions, or vases – only headstones, kerbstones, and flat stones have distinct single- and double-grave prices.

Non-resident fees

Anyone not in permanent residence within Rutland at the time of death may be buried at basic rates multiplied by two. This applies to all grave purchase and interment charges.
