Rhondda Cynon Taf Council cemetery fees
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCT) provides cemetery services through its Bereavement Services team, operating cemeteries across the three valleys. Fees are effective from 1 April 2026 (2026/27). There is no separate non-resident surcharge. A 25% reduction applies to bereavement fees for families of deceased war veterans and service men and women resident in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Children and young people
RCT does not charge for the exclusive right of burial or interment of children under 18.
War veterans’ reduction
A 25% reduction applies to all Council bereavement fees for families of deceased war veterans and service men and women resident in Rhondda Cynon Taf. The council’s current fees-and-charges schedule does not separately list a general means-tested hardship reduction – contact Bereavement Services to check what support may be available.
