Reigate and Banstead Borough Council cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, effective April 2026. The council operates two main burial sites: Redstone Cemetery in Redhill and Reigate Cemetery. Resident rates apply to those who have lived within the borough within the last three years. Non-parishioners (those who have not been resident within the last three years) pay higher rates: the exclusive right of burial fee is trebled, and all other fees are doubled.
Grave space purchase (exclusive right of burial)
An exclusive right of burial (ERB) grants the holder the right to decide who is buried in the grave and to apply to erect a memorial. The standard term is 50 years, with a 100-year option also available.

About Reigate and Banstead cemeteries
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council operates two cemeteries in Surrey. Redstone Cemetery is located in Redhill and includes a natural burial area as well as a Muslim section. Reigate Cemetery serves the historic town of Reigate. The council also operates the Reigate Garden of Remembrance, which is for cremated remains interment only and has its own separate fee schedule.
