About Dorking Cemetery

Dorking Cemetery is the only council-operated burial ground for Mole Valley District Council – it is the district’s principal cemetery, on Reigate Road, Dorking. The 14-acre site offers woodland, Muslim, and lawn burial areas, plus a scattering garden with a memorial wall for cremated remains. The woodland burial area is now full; the lawn and Muslim areas and cremated remains plots remain available. The site is open 9am until dusk, seven days a week, including bank holidays.

Randalls Park Cemetery and Crematorium in Leatherhead is a separate site, owned and operated by Dignity Funeral Services – contact 01372 363181 for their fee information. Clandon Wood Nature Reserve and Natural Burial Ground, near Guildford, is another nearby option, privately run and unaffiliated with the council.
