About Mansfield District Council cemeteries
Mansfield District Council operates cemeteries across a former coalfield district in Nottinghamshire. The district borders Ashfield to the west and Newark and Sherwood to the east, and has one of the lower interment fees in the region at £803 for an adult burial – well below the regional average.
The non-resident multiplier for ERB varies by grave type – it is roughly 1.5x for standard earthen graves, which is lower than most English councils, which typically charge 2x. Interment fees carry no non-resident premium at all.
