Hounslow Cemetery (Hanworth Road) fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for the London Borough of Hounslow, valid from 1 April 2026. Hounslow Council manages 9 cemeteries across the borough, with 5 currently open for new grave purchases: Hounslow Cemetery (Hanworth Road, Whitton), Hatton Cemetery, Borough Cemetery, Bedfont Cemetery and Chiswick New Cemetery. Four further sites – Feltham, Isleworth, New Brentford and Chiswick Old – are closed to new burials but existing graves can be reopened for additional family members. The council operates a tiered pricing structure based on grave type, with lawn section graves the most common option. Exclusive rights of burial are granted for 60 years, renewable up to a maximum of 100 years. Non-resident fees are trebled.

The London Borough of Hounslow manages 9 cemeteries serving residents of the borough, which covers areas including Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Feltham and Hanworth. Hounslow Cemetery on Hanworth Road, Whitton, is one of five sites currently open for new grave purchases, alongside Hatton, Borough, Bedfont and Chiswick New cemeteries. The non-resident surcharge of three times the standard rate reflects the high demand for burial space in west London and the council’s priority for local residents.
Children’s funerals are provided free of charge to Hounslow residents. Non-resident children are charged at a reduced rate.
