Havant Borough Council cemetery fees

Current burial and cemetery fees for Havant Borough Council, effective 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. The council operates three cemeteries – Havant, Warblington and Waterlooville – and grants a 50-year Exclusive Right of Burial (ERB) for new graves. Non-residents pay double all published fees. Fees rose by 8.80% from the 2025/26 schedule.

When you purchase a grave, you purchase the exclusive right of burial in that grave for 50 years. No burial can take place without the grant holder’s permission.

About Havant cemeteries, including Warblington natural burial ground

Havant Borough Council manages three cemeteries: Havant Cemetery, Warblington Cemetery and Waterlooville Cemetery. Warblington also has a dedicated natural burial area, where ashes and single-depth graves are interred without a casket in a more informal, wildlife-friendly setting – priced separately above under “Cremated remains.” Cemetery staff are usually available from 9am–12 noon and 1pm–4pm Monday to Friday.
