Harrow Council cemetery fees

Burial and cemetery fees for the London Borough of Harrow, effective 1 April 2026 (2026/27). Harrow manages seven cemeteries across the borough: Harrow, Harrow Weald, Pinner New, Paines Lane, Wealdstone, Roxeth Hill and Eastcote Lane. Burial space for full coffin burials is exhausted across most of the borough, so no new full burial plots are available – the council only offers cremated remains graves and some specialist sections (Greek Orthodox, Muslim, children’s). Fees below apply to cremated remains and any reopened or existing grave rights.

Harrow’s cemeteries

All seven cemeteries share the same fee schedule and the same seasonal opening hours – it’s the location, section availability and any site-specific supplement that differ. Opening hours everywhere: 9am–4:30pm (Jan, Feb, Nov, Dec), 9am–5:30pm (Mar, Oct), 9am–7pm (Apr, Sep), 9am–8pm (May–Aug).

Carpenders Park Cemetery

Carpenders Park isn’t one of Harrow’s own seven cemeteries, but Harrow residents can apply to use it. It’s run by Brent Council under a joint arrangement, with Harrow owning part of the burial land. There are no new Muslim burial plots left in Harrow’s own cemeteries, so this is the main alternative the council points residents to. Fees for Harrow residents at Carpenders Park follow Harrow’s own schedule (see the grave purchase table above) – there’s a separate supplement of £1,779 (resident) or £3,410 (non-resident) for plots directly adjacent to a path. For general enquiries about the cemetery itself, see Brent Council – Carpenders Park Lawn Cemetery.

About Harrow Council cemeteries

The London Borough of Harrow operates seven cemeteries in north-west London – the council’s bereavement service is mainly focused on cremated remains burials and the specialist sections (Greek Orthodox and Muslim). The standard non-resident ERB rate is approximately 85% above the resident rate; the pre-purchase and Carpenders Park path-adjacent rates carry a different, higher non-resident multiplier (see the figures above).
