Fleet Town Council cemetery fees
Fleet Cemetery is operated by Fleet Town Council in Hampshire. The charge structure splits the total cost between three separate fees: the Exclusive Rights of Burial (the right to bury in the plot), the interment fee (charged each time the plot is opened), and the memorial permit fee (the right to erect a memorial conforming to current regulations).
Fees from April 2026 apply a 50% reduction for Fleet Town Council parish residents. Church Crookham and Elvetham Heath fall within the Fleet postal district but are separate parishes – as their parish councils have not contributed to cemetery upkeep, they pay the higher (non-Fleet) rate.

Note: VAT applies to memorial fees in the Garden of Remembrance only. No VAT is charged on interment fees, memorial permits, or exclusive rights of burial in the main cemetery.
Residency
The Fleet resident rate applies when:
- The deceased was resident within the Fleet Town Council parish boundaries at the time of death, or
- The deceased was originally a Fleet Town Council resident who moved to a nursing or care home outside the area (proof of prior residency may be required)
A council tax bill is accepted as proof of residency. Weekend interment surcharges apply – contact the cemetery office for details.
