Edmonton Cemetery and Enfield cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for the London Borough of Enfield, valid from 1 April 2025 (2025/26 schedule). Enfield Council operates five cemeteries: Edmonton Cemetery (Church Street) – the borough’s largest and most searched-for site – plus Hertford Road Cemetery, Lavender Hill Cemetery (Cedar Road), Strayfield Road Cemetery, and Southgate Cemetery (Waterfall Road). The Exclusive Right of Burial is granted for 100 years for traditional and lawn graves. Non-residents pay double the resident ERB rate.

Digging fees (interment)
Fees cover digging, interment, and a soil box on request. All depths apply to new and re-opened graves.

About Enfield cemeteries
London Borough of Enfield operates five council-run cemeteries. Edmonton Cemetery is the largest active site, offering traditional grave plots. Garden of rest plots for cremated remains are available at Edmonton, Hertford Road, Lavender Hill, and Southgate cemeteries. Niche plots (ashes only) are available at Edmonton Cemetery. The 100-year Exclusive Right of Burial is one of the longest terms in London.
Note: Enfield Crematoria & Cemetery (Great Cambridge Road, EN1) is a separate, privately operated site run by CMG (Dignity) – not one of the council’s five cemeteries. It has its own on-site cemetery and cremation fee schedule, distinct from the council figures on this page.
