East Hampshire cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for East Hampshire District Council, effective 2026/27. The council operates five cemeteries: Alton, Catherington, Petersfield (Ramshill), West Liss and Whitehill.
East Hampshire does not separate the ERB fee from the interment charge. A single bundled fee covers both the purchase of the Exclusive Right of Burial and the first interment. Subsequent re-openings are charged separately.
Petersfield cemetery (Ramshill) is reserved for Petersfield residents due to limited space. Full grave spaces at Alton, Whitehill and West Liss are available to all applicants. Ashes plots are available at all five cemeteries for both residents and non-residents.

East Hampshire District Council manages five cemeteries serving the district: Alton (Old Odiham Road), Catherington (Catherington Road), Petersfield (Ramshill), West Liss (Church Street) and Whitehill (Hollywater Road). Alton, Whitehill and West Liss cemeteries are open to anyone. Petersfield (Ramshill) cemetery is restricted to Petersfield residents due to limited full grave space availability.
