East Grinstead cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for East Grinstead Town Council’s Mount Noddy Cemetery in West Sussex. Fees are effective for the 2026/27 financial year.
Non-parishioners pay four times the stated parishioner rates for interment and exclusive right of burial fees. The cemetery office has discretion to waive the quadruple rate where the deceased was a long-term resident who had been living outside the parish for up to three years prior to death – proof is required.

The permit fee for the initial GOR tablet is included in the interment fee. All tablets must be between 15” × 15” × 2” and 16” × 16” × 2”. The plot number must appear at the top of the tablet in lettering of at least 1 inch.

About Mount Noddy Cemetery
East Grinstead Town Council manages Mount Noddy Cemetery in the town of East Grinstead, West Sussex, within the Mid Sussex district. East Grinstead is a market town in the High Weald, close to the Surrey border and Gatwick Airport.
The cemetery is open daily from 8:30am to 8:00pm, or sunset if earlier. Vehicular access is for visitors only; drivers must use tarmac roads and not park on grass verges.
