Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, effective 1 April 2025. Dudley operates seven cemeteries across the borough including Gornal Wood Cemetery and Crematorium, Stourbridge Cemetery, Dudley Cemetery, and others.
Fees are doubled for anyone who is not a resident or council tax payer of the Borough of Dudley. An exception applies when the deceased lived in the borough for the majority of their life and moved or took up full-time care outside the borough within two years of death.
Grave purchase (exclusive right of burial)
ERB grants a maximum of three interments for a period of 75 years, with the option to renew on terms prevailing at the time. From 1 April 2000, ERB includes the right to fix a memorial including the first inscription.

When two interments take place simultaneously in the same grave, only half the interment fee is payable for the second interment.
Last burial time is 3pm (February to October) and 2:30pm (November to January) for straight-to-grave services.

Memorial fees
For graves with ERB purchased on or after 1 April 2000, the right to erect a memorial is included in the ERB purchase price. For graves with ERB purchased before 1 April 2000:
