Dorset Council: cremated remains burial from £970, no coffin graves

Last updated 12 August 2026

Cemetery burial fees

Dorset Council operates Weymouth Crematorium and its adjacent Weymouth Crematorium Burial Ground. Unlike most unitary authorities, Dorset Council does not directly manage coffin burial cemeteries – those are run by individual town and parish councils across the county. The burial ground at Weymouth Crematorium is dedicated to the interment of cremated remains.
