Conwy County Borough Council cemetery fees
Conwy County Borough Council manages cemeteries across the county borough. The fee schedule below is sourced directly from the council’s published bereavement services fees page.
Exclusive right of burial – earth graves
The exclusive right of burial is granted for 25 years. For a new single grave, the purchase fee already includes the first interment – there is no separate first-interment charge. A child includes a non-viable foetus, stillborn baby, or child under 18.

The non-resident rate applies where the deceased has resided outside Conwy County for the last five or more years.

Subsequent interment fees – earth graves
For multiple interments in the same grave, the first interment is included in the grave purchase fee above. Each subsequent interment (including cremated remains) is charged at the rates below, with a 50% reduction for interments after the second.
