Bromley cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for the London Borough of Bromley, valid from 1 April 2026. Bromley Council operates cemeteries serving residents of the borough. The Exclusive Right of Burial is granted for a 60-year lease, with an option to extend for a further 40 years.
Bromley uses the terms “parishioner” and “non-parishioner” rather than resident and non-resident. Parishioner rates apply to those who live within the borough. Non-parishioner fees are four times the parishioner rate across all categories – one of the highest non-resident differentials in London.

The London Borough of Bromley manages cemeteries serving one of London’s largest outer boroughs, covering areas including Bromley, Beckenham, Penge, Orpington, Chislehurst, Sidcup, and Crystal Palace.
The four-times non-parishioner multiplier means non-residents face some of the highest absolute burial costs in Greater London. A non-parishioner adult burial (ERB plus interment) costs over £20,000.
Children’s burial fees are set separately and do not follow the same multiplier structure.
