Bristol City Council cemetery fees
Current burial and cemetery fees for Bristol City Council, effective 2026/27. Bristol City Council operates eight cemeteries across the city. Non-residents pay double the resident rate for grave purchase and woodland burial; interment fees are the same for all. The figures below come from the council’s annual fees and charges report, which lists cemetery costs alongside the council’s other services.
Grave purchase (exclusive right of burial)
Bristol grants a 50-year lease for all new graves.

Bristol City Council manages eight cemeteries across the city: Avonview, Brislington, Canford, Greenbank, Henbury, Ridgeway Park, Shirehampton, and South Bristol.
