Bassetlaw District Council cemetery fees
Bassetlaw District Council manages three working cemeteries: Hannah Park Cemetery (Worksop, S80 2SQ), Retford Road Cemetery (Worksop, S80 2QB), and Retford Cemetery (Retford, DN22 7BP). Fees are effective from 1 April 2026. Non-residents of Bassetlaw pay double for all grave purchases, interments, deed fees, and transfers.
Grave purchase (exclusive right of burial)

Non-residents pay double these amounts. Pre-purchasing of a grave is no longer available, except where the deceased moved into care or a nursing home.

Bassetlaw District Council is the burial authority for three working cemeteries in the Worksop and Retford areas of north Nottinghamshire. Re-purchasing of a grave after 99 years includes Exclusive Rights of Burial deed and memorial rights. All fees for children under 18 are waived for Bassetlaw residents.
